Terms of service.

The terms of our agreement.

Last updated: June 2026

1. What CORDON is

CORDON is a prompt structuring tool. It helps you construct better inputs for AI tools. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice of any kind. The output it generates is intended as input for third-party AI systems. You are responsible for what you do with that output.

2. Who can use it

You must be 16 or older to use CORDON. By using the tool, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Paid subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Lemon Squeezy. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

In the EU, statutory cooling-off rights apply where required by law. Lemon Squeezy handles compliance at the point of purchase.

4. Fair use

CORDON is designed for individual, personal use. Each subscription covers one user. You may not share your account or use a single subscription on behalf of multiple people or organisations.

The free tier is limited to 3 prompt improvements per device. It is intended for individual evaluation only. Using technical means to reset or circumvent this limit is a breach of these terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if usage patterns indicate abuse, resale, or use that places unreasonable load on the service.

The 120 improvements per 12 hours figure shown on our pricing and tool pages is a guideline, not a guaranteed allowance; we may suspend or restrict access below this threshold if usage otherwise indicates abuse or unreasonable load.

5. What you may not do

You may not use CORDON to generate content that violates applicable law, including content that is defamatory, abusive, or infringes on third-party rights. Automated or bulk use of the tool without prior written agreement is not permitted.

6. Intellectual property

The CORDON brand, framework, and product are owned by Jan-Willem Bekkers. The prompts you create using CORDON belong to you.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

CORDON is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, usefulness, or appropriateness of AI-generated output. This applies both to the prompt CORDON generates and to any response you subsequently obtain by using that prompt with a third-party AI tool. The tool processes your input through a third-party AI API (Anthropic). We are not responsible for the content of that output.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of CORDON is limited to €50, regardless of the amount you paid or the nature of the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Paying users are notified by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of CORDON after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
